This coastal gem in Pacific Grove, dating back to 1891, is a testament to the beauty of restoration. Led by Amy Fischer, this creative venture reflects her passion for historic preservation and peerless craftsmanship. Originally a Queen Anne Victorian later converted to a triplex, Amy’s vision was to restore the home to its single-family glory. She employed an innovative strategy to redesign the core floor plan and integrate the 1940s addition. Every existing interior finish was stripped away, revealing the centuries-old redwood stud framed walls. The restoration, marked by custom period-inspired trims, intricate ceilings, imported antique fireplace mantels, newly designed vintage-inspired tilework, and a coastline-inspired color palette, is a captivating masterpiece that beautifully echoes the history of the home and its coastal surroundings.
